COMMON QUESTIONS
Once your material selections are confirmed in writing, drawings are approved, and your deposit is received, the 8-week clock starts. If we do not reach practical completion within 8 weeks for reasons within our control we apply a $1,000 credit per week to your final invoice. The guarantee applies to residential projects only and is capped at 5% of the total job value. Full terms are set out in your contract before you commit.
A full site assessment: every wall, ceiling height, floor level, and door and window position. After the measure we produce 3D renders and detailed drawings for your approval. The Precision Measure costs $175 plus GST, totalling $192.50. If you proceed with an eligible Northside project, the full $192.50 paid is credited toward your project price. Standard Melbourne metro residential rate. Travel fee may apply for locations beyond Melbourne metro or for commercial projects.
Melbourne homes, particularly Victorian terraces and weatherboards, are rarely square, level, or plumb. Tolerance planning for walls out of square, uneven floors, and varying ceiling heights is built into every set of drawings from day one. It is not a surprise on install day. It is accounted for in the design.
Any change to the agreed scope, materials, or design after the contract is signed is documented in a written Variation Order showing the effect on price and timeline before any changed work is carried out. Nothing changes without your signature. No surprise invoices at the end of the job.
We service all Melbourne suburbs plus Kilmore, Sunbury, Melton, Lara, and the Yarra Ranges at standard rates. We also cover regional Victoria including Traralgon and Sandy Point. A travel fee applies to the initial measure appointment for regional locations beyond greater Melbourne and is credited in full to your job if you proceed.
